In Craniosacral Therapy we listen through our hands to what is being communicated to us by the whole of the
person we are in therapeutic relationship with. Part of what is being communicated is the story of that person's body and what it holds within. This is expressed to us through the language of the body: through the tissues, the tide-like expressions and fluctuations at the fluid level and through expressions of what we call "potency". These patterns are read through the hands and healing is effected. CST can successfully treat a wide variety of conditions, ranging from anxiety attacks and back pain through to vertigo and whiplash. It naturally balances the autonomic nervous system, reducing stress levels and providing deep relaxation. It is suitable for all age groups.

Therapist:
Lol Kane, RCST

Lol began his foundation training in Craniosacral Therapy at The Karuna Institute in Devon in 1995, qualifying and registering with the Craniosacral Therapy Association in 1996. Since then he has continued with ongoing professional development, undertaking a series of post-graduate CST seminars at the Institute, as well as a more process-orientated practitioner training with Mike Boxhall RCST, focusing on a transpersonal way of working.

In embracing the whole being, Holistic Healing helps not only to relieve the symptoms of 'disease' or 'suffering' but is also concerned with reaching root conditions to effect real change and to bring the entire system back to balance. By giving ourselves time to focus on the 'inner life' to tune into and express any conflicts we might have, whether at physical, mental or emotional levels, we encourage the release of tensions and allow energy to flow freely around our systems, regaining strength and health and a richer sense of self. During the session, overall balance and whole health is established through a combination of therapeutic touch as a vehicle for the transmission of energy, meditation techniques and intuitive counselling.

Therapist:
Gillian Thomas, BA (Hons), MNFSH, MASC

Trained with the NFSH and the Maitreya School of Healing, Gillian is a fully qualified and experienced healer. She also teaches meditation and t'ai chi to groups as well as in one-to-one sessions. Gillian has been in practice for over 15 years and also works as a stress management counsellor.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage
is a therapeutic massage using a gently pulsating pressure which increases the lymphatic flow to detoxify the body. It also helps to regulate the immune system and clears blockages, eliminates metabolic waste as well as excess fluid in the body. Lymphatic drainage massage uses a very light touch and gentle, rhythmic circling movements of the skin to stimulate the lymph through the lymphatic vessels. It has a calming affect on the sympathetic nervous system, while offering relief from chronic pain.

Shiatsu
has been used in Eastern cultures for millennia. In Japan where it was developed, it used to be practiced daily within the family to keep everyone healthy and happy. Stagnant energy caused by stress, unhelpful habits and injury creates blockages within the body and can lead to physical and emotional problems.

Therapist:

Basia Wiacek is an experienced and insured Shiatsu practitioner. She has been practicing Shiatsu and massage for the last 5 years, and has organised several healing events.
She works Intuitively using the appropriate pressure and choice of meridians and acupressure points so you can fully benefit from the session and emerge feeling balanced and relaxed. She can combine the therapeutic shiatsu with soothing deep tissue oil massage.
